Planning poker is a collaborative way to estimate a user story or backlog item. Each person chooses a card independently, the team reveals together, and different estimates open a conversation about scope, complexity and uncertainty.
Also called Scrum poker, it helps a team compare work using a shared scale. The goal is a useful discussion and an estimate everyone understands—not a precise promise about hours.

Choose a cowboy, send an emote or toss a paper ball. Quiet table and separate audio controls keep it comfortable.

The fixed deck is 0, ½, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55 and 89, plus ? for more information and coffee for a break. The half-point card is a relative estimate, not half an hour. Custom and T-shirt decks are not currently available.
No. Before reveal, you can see your own value and the room's voting progress, but other players' card values stay hidden, including from the host. The backend enforces this restriction.
A room lasts 24 hours from creation. Accepted estimates are kept in its temporary session ledger. Copy the decisions you need into your own backlog before ending the room or its expiry. There is no permanent workspace, export button or automatic tracker sync.
A room supports up to 50 members. Up to 10 have visual seats at the table, while the full roster remains available. Creating new rooms is limited to 12 per hour per anonymous user.
Use PointRoom alongside your usual backlog and meeting tools. You can type an external reference into a story, but the app does not import issues, write estimates back to trackers, provide a video call or record your microphone.
